Programme Overview

The Era of Digital Economy

Up to early 2021, 9 out of the top 10 companies in the world by market capitalisation are tech companies.  What is the secret recipe of their success?  These leaders have been innovating technologies and creating successful business models one after another.  More importantly, they have resolved challenging problems for their customers in innovative ways that the existing players in the markets could not match with.  What can the established companies learn from these leaders?

Corporate Leaders Need to Think and Act Like Entrepreneurs to Stay Relevant and Competitive in the Digital Economy

As an organisation gets bigger and more mature, there is a tendency to soften up on the original entrepreneurial and innovative culture.  In the digital economy, competitors are coming from not just the same industry but also innovative tech giants and start-ups.  The need for faster change and continued growth can only be met with increased flexibility, agility, and innovation. In fact, traditional companies have their own advantages to innovate better than the new disruptors of their industries.  Across the globe, more and more incumbents in different industries are fighting back well and beating the tech companies.

Fortunately, innovation and entrepreneurship are not just for tech giants and start-ups. They can be learned.   This programme is designed for business leaders and professionals to acquire an even greater level of entrepreneurial, innovative and agile mindset and capabilities as the ultimate source of competitive advantage in the digital economy.
