Located at the Cheng Yu Tung Building, a 15-storey complex right next to the University Station of MTR and the Hyatt Regency Hotel Shatin, the Suite provides convenient access for local and international visitors.

Right next to the University Station of MTR, Cheng Yu Tung Building is just at a 1-minute walking distance from the Exit B of the Station (Adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Hotel Shatin). The Executive Education Suite is located on Level 1 (ground floor) of the Building.

The Executive Education Suite offers flexible hourly, half-day, and full-day rental packages for on-campus events. Booking can be made up to 6 months in advance.

Please refer to the floor plan above for more details regarding the venue capacities and layout. Booking can be made for the Lecture Theatre 2, Lecture Theatre 3 or Full Suite (both). The Executive Lounge and discussion rooms are to be shared by any concurrent Booking Units in the lecture theatres. No booking is allowed for only the Executive Lounge and discussion rooms.
Each booking includes the use of the rooms rented for the event as stated in the rental agreement, along with its in-house audio-visual equipment and facilities which include a built-in desktop computer, LCD projector, projection screens, visual presenter, whiteboard, hand-held and clipped microphones, Apple TV and Wi-Fi Internet connection (campus network). Complimentary share use of coffee machine and distilled water fountain are also provided as part of the package amenities. Please consult in advance if any specific equipment and facilities are required.
A wide range of events is welcomed, from class lecture, conference, training, seminars, and workshops to team building activities, group discussions and interviews.
The Executive Education Suite is open for booking by all Administrative Services, Academic and Research units in CUHK only.
Booking can be made in the office hours (i.e. 09:00-17:30 on weekdays) or non-office hours (including Saturday, Sunday and other Public Holidays) with dedicated rental rates. A minimum of 2 consecutive hours is required for any independent booking. Booking less than 1 hour will be treated as 1 hour. For booking in non-office hours, please consult well in advance if any specific time slot is interested.
You may submit bookings up to 6 months in advance (e.g. in September 2023, users can submit bookings for February 2024).

Booking Unit will be notified by email regarding the application within 3 working days upon receiving the completed booking form, and that notification is treated as tentative confirmation only. A Booking Agreement will then be issued to the Booking Unit. Booking will be officially confirmed after the receipt of the signed Booking Agreement from the Booking Unit within 7 working days. If no Booking Agreement has been signed and returned within 7 days, it is presumed that the venue is no longer required and it will be duly released.
Full rental fee shall be settled within 7 working days upon completion of the event through the “Interdepartmental Billing & Transfer (IBT)” of the CUSAP system.

An administration fee of HK$500 will be levied for cancellation of any confirmed booking. However, for cancellation of any confirmed booking in less than 7 working days, full rental fee will be charged to the Booking Unit.
Booking Unit is subject to additional charges including overtime, non-office hour booking and damage of equipment/facilities caused by improper use.

The equipment and facilities in the each lecture theatre include a built-in desktop computer, overhead projectors x2, dual projection screens, whiteboard, wireless hand-held microphones x2, clipped microphone x1, visual presenter, Apple TV and campus Wi-Fi connection (Guest account, if any non-CUHK guest, is to be applied in advance through ITSC by Booking Unit).
Technical support service for audio-visual equipment is only available on a case-by-case basis. Like other on-campus venues, it is recommended that the Booking Unit consult directly the Audio Visual Services Unit (AVSU) well in advance. Contact of AVSU is available [here].
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force and/or is to be issued 2 hours before the session booked, the Executive Education Suite will be closed.
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during the event at the Suite, the event will be suspended immediately and the Booking Unit is responsible for arranging all attendees to take shelter at a safe place until the weather and transport conditions have improved.
