Dr. KC Tsui has spent over 25 years in the IT industry, both in Hong Kong and the UK. He has spent a substantial amount of time in application development and technology management in HSBC. He has also spent over 5 years at British Telecom Labs in the UK working on the theory and application of soft computing. More recently, Dr. Tsui was part of HSBC's global innovation team that focused on discovering innovative fintech companies with the view to deploy their solutions in HSBC as well as investing in them. He joined a successful HK-based blockchain fintech in 2019 as their Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Tsui earned a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from King’s College London. He is a fellow of the British Computer Society, and a contributor of 5 US patents.
