About the Speaker :

Kenneth Lo is Director and Head of Institutional Sales, Global Payments Solutions (GPS), at HSBC in Hong Kong. He leads a team of dedicated sales managers focused on supporting Institutional Clients with payments and liquidity solutions that help clients optimise working capital and keep cash moving efficiently across markets.
In his role, Kenneth works closely with HSBC’s product and innovation teams to explore how emerging forms of digital money—such as tokenised deposits and the evolving stablecoin landscape in Hong Kong—can be applied to real institutional use cases. His focus is on practical outcomes: improving payment efficiency, enhancing client experience, and unlocking new business opportunities by enabling faster, more seamless movement of funds.

Kenneth brings a strong academic foundation to his work, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, an MBA, and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through sport, spending time fishing, and practising meditation.
