Transcript Application for Executive Diploma / Diploma Program graduates

Q:  I am a graduate of the executive diploma / diploma program organized by the Asia-Pacific Institute of Business.  How can I apply for a transcript?
A:  APIB graduates of the executive diploma or diploma programs who want to apply for a copy of transcript will have to submit the application 14 working days in advance of the expected delivery date.  Q: How can I collect my transcript?
 A: Transcripts can be delivered by post or collected in person during office hours. You are advised to make advanced appointment at (852) 3943-7424 if you would like to collect the transcript person.
If you want to authorize a representative to collect the transcript, the authorized person should bring along a letter of authorization and a photocopy of your HKID Card. Please note that the authorized person's HKID Card or passport will be required for verification.

Q:  What does the room rental fee include?
A:  Room rental fee includes the use of the room rented for the event stated in the rental agreement, and its in-house facilities and equipment, including a built-in desktop computer, LCD projector, projection screens, white-board, wireless / wired handheld microphones and wifi internet connection. The set-up and clean-up time should be included in the rental period.
   
 Q: How far in advance can I make a booking?
 A: Our rooms are available for booking 3 months in advance of your planned event date. .

What are the available hours for room rentals?

Our rooms are open for booking during the following hours:

Monday – Friday:  9:30am-5:30pm

Saturdays:              10:00am-2pm

What if I use outside the above hours?
For weekday evening and weekend sessions, or further extension of the above rental hours, prior approval by the Town Centre is required. All of these arrangement details shall be stated on the rental agreement before the event. Air conditioning & management fee will be charged at an additional amount of HKD4,000 per half-day session and HKD1,000 for an additional hour.

Do I have to pay for the full rental fee at the time of booking?
A deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required within 1 week after you receive the booking notification. The balance shall be made any time on or before the date of event.

What types of event are acceptable at the Town Centre?
We welcome corporate bookings for their meetings and events such as public lectures, trainings, seminars and workshops. Depending on the nature, safety and security, contents and other relevant factors in relation to the meeting or event to be held, the CUHK Business School reserves the final right to determine whether to confirm a booking. Approval of a similar past event does not mean that a new event can be accommodated.

 Is there any charges for cancellation of bookings?
For cancellation of the booking 30 days ahead of event date, an administration fee of HKD500 will be charged.
For cancellation of the booking less than 30 days, but at least 10 calendar days before your event date, 25% of the booking amount will be charged.
For cancellation of the booking less than 10 calendar days before your event day, 100% of the booking amount will be charged.

 What is the arrangement for Typhoon or Black Rainstorm situations?
If the typhoon signal no.8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is in force and/or is issued before the session booked, the Town Centre will be closed. If the typhoon signal no. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during an event held at the Town Centre, the event should be suspended immediately and the hirer must arrange for all attendees to leave. If the typhoon signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered, the Town Centre will be open according to the time indicated below:

Hirer can re-schedule the event within 4 months without additional charges. For cancellation, an administration fee of HKD500 will be charged.
