Hotel General Managers Advanced Management Program




In recent years, competition among hotel chains becomes more intense with the exponential growth of the hotel industry in the Asia-Pacific region. Expectations are high for hotel general managers' professional competencies and qualifications. To help the industry develop more talents for senior executive positions, CUHK’s Asia-Pacific Institute of Business (APIB) and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) will launch the first ever Hotel General Managers Advanced Management Program (HGMAMP) in the region in November 2018. In this five-day, block-teaching program, CUHK Business School professors and subject experts will bring contemporary management theories and latest cases to class. We will also invite some of the most influential industry leaders and elites to share their valuable insights and experiences. 


All members of the inaugural class will be invited to attend the 20th Anniversary Gala Cocktail for School of Hotel and Tourism Management, CUHK to be held at the Peninsula Hong Kong on November 20, 2018. Program Fee
HK$ 38,000 per person including tuition and course material; breakfasts, lunches and tea/coffee breaks; welcome reception and gala dinner; local field trip and the completion certificate. Participants should make their own accommodation arrangements in Hong Kong. Our teaching hotel, Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin, will offer a special rate for HGMAMP participants.
